33 YEARS AND NEVER A FISHLESS DAY!

Fish the 1000 Islands between Kingston, Gananoque, Rockport, and
Brockville Ontario, and Cape Vincent, Clayton, Alexandria Bay, and Chippewa
Bay New York for smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pike, muskie and carp.

In my many years of chasing bass and pike in the shallows of the St. Lawrence R. I have  found thousands of huge carp. Until this last year I saw them as a nuisance since they messed up the area for the bass and pike, BUT now, after I caught some of these monsters, I see them as an opportunity to really get my line stretched!! My longest fight has been 45 minutes with a 25lb. common caught on an ultra light 5’ crappie rod with 6lb. test line. I was in my boat at the time and had to use the electric trolling motor to follow the fish up and down the canal I was fishing in.

I have fished virtually every inch of the shallow bays and reed patches for at least a 40km. stretch of the St Lawrence in the 1000 Islands region and can guarantee that I will put you right on the isolated best swims with huge numbers of virgin fish. These fish have never been caught and do not require complicated rigs in order to get them to bite.
